About My Secret Deli

Let me introduce you to My Secret Deli, a low-key neighborhood restaurant that feels like a local secret the moment you step onto Caribena Street in San Pedro, Belize. Tucked away at W2CQ+J9H, My Secret Deli has this relaxed, come-as-you-are energy that makes first-timers feel instantly welcome. I usually describe it as the kind of place where conversations flow easily, the food comes out fast, and nobody rushes you out the door. Whether you are stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a longer dine-in moment, the vibe stays friendly and unpretentious. One of the things I love pointing out is the flexibility of the service options, because outdoor seating lets you soak up the island air, while takeaway works perfectly when your schedule is packed. Inside, the atmosphere stays casual, making it easy to relax with a coffee in hand or a cold beer after a long day. The menu leans toward small plates and easygoing comfort food, which means you can sample a little bit of everything without overthinking it. People often ask me what makes My Secret Deli stand out, and I tell them it is the balance between simplicity and personality. There is alcohol available for those who want to unwind, yet the focus stays on approachable flavors and a laid-back rhythm that fits San Pedro life so well. As someone introducing the spot for the first time, I always mention how easy it feels to drop in, strike up a chat, and enjoy good food without any fuss, which is exactly why My Secret Deli keeps pulling locals and visitors back again and again for its consistent quality, friendly service, and that unmistakable feeling of discovering a place that still feels personal, familiar, and genuinely rooted in the neighborhood, where good drinks, simple plates, and easy conversations come together naturally day or night.

Good food, fair prices, and good service. I think they accept credit card but paid cash. They don't have any fruit juices here which was a bit disappointing.

Very good food, generous portions, had the fried chicken. Small seating area, lots of locals were getting take out. Price was very reasonable. If you are looking for non-tourist experience, this is a spot to go.

I have been san pedro a week, I'm tried eating out everyday so I miss homemade food. When I found this place I love the food here. If you like homemade tasted come here, I love the soup. They have different kinds of soup everyday. It a family food tasted.

Delicious Belizean food! We had the stew beef and the Mango Smoothie. I've heard that any stew is good.

Yummy food. The server was very soft spoken and hard to understand, but I think she was a kid (?). A bit hot inside the restaurant, and they didn't have many fresh juice options.

The not-so-secret best place for food on the island!! The green shrimp curry was the BEST i have ever had! They were accommodating to my celiac disease and prepp’d an awesome gluten free meal!

Small shop, good food, and large portions. What more do you want?! The answer is A/C. It's sweltering in there on a hot day and zero fans or breeze. I'd just order it to go if I were you. Unless you like profusely sweating as you eat your hot meal!
